4 weeks? Hell, once I got started I probably finished the first 4 books in less than 4 weeks.

I hope the series stays slightly faster paced than the books. If so this might become the first thing that I have liked better as a movie/show than as a book.

I love the books, so this series could be EPIC

My only wish is that GRRM hurries up and finishes the series. He has "3 more years" after this season to complete books 6 and 7.

This is going to be an epic season! 27 days.

How many books are there so far? Would it be spoilers to tell a nonbookie if they have at least met in the books so far?

ok guys need help.

I've stalled out on Feast for Crows. I'm only about 200 pages in but for me the beginning of each of the books are so slow.

I need some motivation for picking it up again and getting going on it.

It's tough just because the A Storm of Swords is so ridiculously epic.

As far as motivation, getting to A Dance with Dragons should be it. And some of the POVs you come up on are pretty good even though they're "minor".

I think that's what the main thing is. I have never ever had moments in books where I drop my book and literally go 'holy shite my mind is blown' like I did in that book

That advice could very well save someone from breaking their television.

I had to re-read the previous 3 pages to make sure I didn't miss something, or read it wrong.

Then I about ripped my book in half.

Good luck is all I've got.

That book was such a disappointment. Especially after waiting 2+ years of constant push backs on the release date.

I almost threw my iPad across the room...no book has ever captivated me and reeled me in - just to toss me back - than that one.
