Friday Night Lights

I just watched this week's episode and was wondering the same thing.

My guess is the other Dillon boosters forced Joe McCoy out after the embarrassing loss to East Dillon last year. Remember that Joe led the effort to have Eric replaced with Aikman.

The other Dillon boosters realized what a mistake it was to let Eric go, and Joe McCoy lost his influence (which would also explain why Mac, one of Eric's old assistants, is now the head coach).

My guess is Joe and J.D. packed up, took Wade Aikman with them, and headed for West Canaan (or who knows where).

Again, this is just what I came up with in about five minutes. I could be totally wrong.

Yes...was wondering the samething when I saw the black QB get leveled last episode. Im with SOMEONE on what happened to the McCoys. Good riddance to them.

Its been a pretty good season so far. I wanted to like Vinces dad but just cant...hope he doesnt frick Vince over.

The assistant coach seems really pissed off about the dirty play.

Vince hasn't been showing Coach any respect lately.

Vince's dad is starting to look like Cecil Newton.

Julie is a hooo-er.

Billy Riggins is greatness this year.

Well I expect cameos soon from Lyla, Tim, Sarecen, and Landry.

I think his past catches back up with him and is gunned down or something. Im hoping at least

Seriously? Not for me.

It's still been awesome, and will probably end awesome, but Vince/Luke/Ruckle will never be Smash/Sarecen/Riggins/Street. They just had so much more time to develop those characters.

In the first few seasons, I really was never a fan of Street, I liked his character but didnt really care about him. I also HATED the whole Landry/Tara?(think thats her name) storyline. Tara was annoying as shite.

Now that I think about it, the only characters I really liked were Riggins/Lyla/Smash/ and Coach. I like the football aspect of the show more than the stupid subplots. Like everything with Tara I despised. She had no relevance to the show in my mind.

I think this season has been so enjoyable simply bc theyve been winning. It pissed me off last season when they were terrible.

I can't seem to find season 5 streaming online. I used to find it at surfthechannel, but now I can't get it to work (takes me to vureel.com and won't play).
