I really don't understand the backlash in this thread from this comment. I am one of the biggest fans of boy meets world but before I clicked on the review I too fully expected it to be a negative review. have any of you watched Disney channel lately? fans of boy meets world would naturally be concerned about it resembling current Disney shows as opposed to the masterpiece we grew up with

the neon effect is what Disney does to their cable tv show in order to mask the low budget sets unfortunately.

Disney and kids shows in general aren't real anymore. There's no depth to them anymore. When I was a kid shows like BMW and that 70s show and even saved by the Bell tackled shite like drug problems, run away parents, abuse, cheating, etc and did it all in a good way that showed gritty things and good lessons. The characters were real and relatable. The shows were for kids but they were written by adults and they have rewatchability to this day. I've seen episodes of current shows at my little cousins house and it just seems like every show is a two dementional uninspired fake pandering crap shoot. The biggest problem these kids deal with is something like how to make their teacher wear more neon.

If you really think what I said was any worse than what he did, then you simply aren't worth conversing with any longer because you are either too stubborn to see any other opinion but your own, or too damn stupid to have a rational conversation.

Breesus went on to back his opinion up on why he feels why he thinks the show won't be any good with personal reasons. While you on the other hand assumed the REVIEW was negative and you backed your opinion on the show based on the movie/tv board's opinion.

You added no value at all to the thread. Didn't provide substantial evidence why you even thought the review would be negative. I'm done conversing about this.

yeah but the point was there. And that's what I'm saying. Even the cartoons. Think about the characters in Hey Arnold. There's no show currently on kids television to match the depth those characters had. What a great show that was.

So you're pissy not even becauase of the show itself, but because I assumed a REVIEW was negative?

No I didn't, not at all. I said based on everything I have seen. I also said the cast is largely made fun of on here...but once again in your typical fashion, you took that and ran a marathon with it and assumed that my whole entire complete opinion is based on nothing more than this board.

And the board rejoiced!

Oops! There I go again speaking on everyone's behalf as their leader. Sorry everyone.

it's true these shows can't touch Even Stevens or Lizzy McGuire

i blame Nickelodeon for this trend of show though

I can dream, that GMW will be the first Disney show I've ever seen that actually tackles real issues for the first time in YEARS... we shall see, that verdict is still out, and if they don't, it'll end up being just another Disney show that blends in with the rest. (I really can't tell you which disney show is which right now, they all have similar actors doing the exact same thing )

Do you guys remember the show "Doug"? The episode with the Nic-Nacs was hilarious.. or the "caffeine pill episode" on Saved by the Bell.. omg, look back at those episodes

Boy Meets World was a crap show. I'm positive this one will be as well.

As far as grown men watching this, I hope your bronie costums are coming along swimmingly.

That's why I said even saved by the Bell. It WA certainly the least "real" of any of the shows. I mean the same 7 people were in charge of every single aspect of every thing in the school. It was certainly the least 3d but it was still head and shoulders above any of the uninspired flat crap on Disney right now.

I have all 3 seasons on some incredibly bootlegged DVDs.

My favorite show growing up by far.
