I think the likelihood of it being a bad movie is increased quite a bit. It definitely means the studio is concerned about how the critics response will impact ticket sales.

I've read 3 critics reviews on imdb. All are huge fans of the original and all 3 said the same thing- it's not the original so get that out of your head, however it is very funny and definitely worth your time
