Bail out now!!!!!!!! I don't know what these people are talking about. The ending is total shite. I can't believe I wasted so much time watching it.

I stirred the pot with Freaux after the last episode but It has grown on me to the point it has my favorite moment in it.

Why do all questions have to be answered? Heck, I loved The Box because it was a big pile of weird with no answers.

I do agree with a point made in the other Lost thread that the show was more fun watching and commenting on because of all the crazy crap that happens. You did miss out on plenty of the fun there.

I assume you like Sawyer by now. I would be shocked otherwise.

Eat shite. The final episode is debatably the best episode of the series. Anyone who doesn't like the final episode either didn't get it or doesn't have a soul.

I'm convinced that some fans would rather have had the final episode to be Damon and Carlton answering questions to a panel.

Season 6 Episode 2

At this point: blowing up the energy pocket worked...or so we are told, they are in the temple and syid is alive, Locke isnt really Locke, and Jacob is dead.

So here are my thoughts as of now. They continually keep introducing new things into the mix, and it's not that they arent answering questions that I have, but more so that it is rather confusing. Example, after they finally ended up in the 70's and stayed there, Locke came back on that same plane but was somehow 30 yrs later...but at the same time? I understand most things will be cleared up and I am not focusing on what I'm not being told, but instead trying to clear up things I do know.

When Juliet set off the bomb, everything reset/got back to normal (no more time traveling...everyone is in the present). Then season 6 happens, and that's where you are.

IIRC, a lot of people had gripes about season six and that it was filled with a lot of pointless things. And they'd be sort fo right, I guess, but everything is tied together in one way or another. But people were just pissed that time was being "wasted" when there were a finite number of episodes left...I was even one of those during the original run. I came to appreciate seasons 5 and 6 much more when I rewatched the series a year or two ago...and I had way less of a problem with the "pointless/unimportant" things. Being that you're watching them marathon-style, I have a feeling you won't be too bothered by them.

Ok I was just really confused with them going back and forth between the 70's and when locke was 30 yrs later...but somehow they all arrived on the island at the same time...but not really idk.

Surprisingly enough, some things that happened have actually been predictable. I'm not sure if that is supposed to happen or not

Yeah, the Jughead bomb reset the time jumping. So now they're all in the present, and the "flashes" you're seeing now will make sense eventually. I won't get into much else as to not spoil you, so keep us posted with your thoughts as you watch the last season and especially the finale.

I wish I could go back and watch it for the first time.

Not sure if it is genius on my part or fairly obvious, but I could tell early on that the new Locke was actually the dude who was talking to Jacob when the statue was still built. I am sure they will go back to that at some point.

I seem to remember that being fairly obvious, but don't know for sure. My memory of Lost is sort of the show as a whole, as opposed to when exactly things happened.

you're an idiot.

the only thing that was close to being purgatory was the flash sideways in season 6.

everything else happened in the "real" world.
