Season 1 Episode 5- Midway through
Thought baldie was gonna be some badass military guy, surprise! He wasnt, but ended up being badass I guess considering the miracle that happened. Hot blonde still needs to be knocked down a peg and Kate is looking sexy like always. The asians are aggravating as the frick and they need to kill the cowboy dude already.
Keep getting more background info on everyone, but the more they show the more they leave unanswered.

I watched every episode on air for so many years. I did a rewatch over the summer and was fun to catch things I missed/forgot about.
It sure does keep you reeled in with all the questions you have. Enjoy!

Sun and Jin became two of my favorite characters--there is a HUGE season 1 twist coming with both of them--stick with it.
One of the best shows ever made for television. The first season won the Emmy for Best Drama and Terry O' Quinn (Locke) won an Emmy as well for season 3.
Hurley's back story episode is great, as well. You'll like Sawyer more as the show goes on.

Yeah, never really liked Charlie, but Sawyer was one of my favorite characters. Jack got on my nerves at times.

I feel you at this point with Sawyer. I loathed the character for quite some time in Season 1, because he was a complete a-hole and douchebag. Get to one of his flashbacks though, and your opinion of him will change. You have no context of where he came from at this point, and once you do, you'll find him much more tolerable. He went from my most hated to one of my favorites over the course of a single episode.

Thats what the gf said, but he reminds me of a dude I know IRL that is the exact same. He is one of the biggest douches I have ever met. Plays in a bad, uses the same lines, acts the exact same. Hard to see that changing but I will be open about it.

I have a love hate relationship with this show. While on the island it was the greatest thing ever, but I hated the flashbacks to their old lives.

That's odd, because I thought the flashbacks were typically the strongest part of the episode, especially in the 1st season.

yes, the flashbacks made you bond with the characters and as a result you cared about what happened to them. This is a huge part of why LOST is so special and will always and forever be my favorite show.

Sawyer still sucks. The whole story about his background and the letter doesnt make me feel any differently since he became a confidence man himself. Koreans are growing on me. Walt and Michael are starting to climb the ladder on my most hated list. Still a big fan of Locke even though he is sketchy. But everything that is happening on the island is starting to feel like its going to be a tough sell in order for it to make any logical sense.
