Irish horror film on Netflix about a woman performing a ritual to be able to speak to her murdered son.

There aren't the surreal hellish visions like Baskin or Event Horizon but there's a very creepy and tense atmosphere and general uneasiness.

I think if you enjoy low-mid budget horror similar to The Void, The Descent, etc. then you will enjoy this

Very solid film

Just watched this yesterday. Definitely passed my Netflix/Amazon Prime "hidden gem" test of a flick that I know nothing about and don't have very high expectations of, but that leaves me very pleasantly surprised.

I really loves when that happens.

and it seems to always happen when I get bored with the film selection

So just watched....

Nice little movie. Great atmosphere and overall arc. The ending was surprising...not sure if this is the spoiler thread or not to discuss.

I say bring the spoilers on.

Really love how they keep you wondering if the shite is real early on or if the dude is kinda nuts. There was great tension between the 2 characters and I loved how the tender moments were so few.

I just finished this movie and thank you for the recommendation Pilot. I also went on Wikipedia and read about the occult procedures that goes along with all that. If you could ask your guardian angel for something what would you ask for?

As far as Netflix movie standards go though..

I've watched a few films on there recently.

Backcountry
Preservation
Etc

If you go into it not hoping for much, you win.
