Then learn to use google's reverse image search.

Very well known film, and considered one of the first to use its particular surrealist overtone.

The movie essentially has no plot, but it uses an overarching idea of the upper middle class in a way that it doesn't need a plot.

Same, the 40th anniversary is tomorrow.

Cuckoo's Nest and Apocalypse Now may be better films but Holy Grail is my favorite.

The Man Who Would Be King is probably the most under-appreciated of the 70's.

Same here.

I used to throw Monty Python night parties in the 90's Break out the home brew and salmon dip. Got a really bad batch of home brew during "Life of Brian" that caused a couple people to lose it.

A lot of great movies listed but haven't seen one of my favorites. Kelly's Hero's came out in 1970. Saw it 3-4 times at the theatre and have a VHS somewhere.

Apocalypse Now

One of my favorite movies.

I second Animal House and Annie Hall.

And I'll throw in Willie Wonka. I was born in '90, so I'm really just thinking of movies I love that I know are from the 70s.
