Used to love Hoop Dreams and Hearts of Darkness...and King of Kong.

But I can't stop watching Searching for Sugar Man.

It's like the Shawshank of documentaries. The music, the story, the main character...he's almost Andy Dufresne-esque.

Searching for Sugar Man is now my favorite doc. It's just better than most films.

I liked Ken Burns' Prohibition. It should be required viewing.

Hoop Dreams is great. I really liked Through the Fire (Sebastian Telfair) when it came out

Speaking of docs, I'm not sure if this should get its own thread or not, I noticed CNN is showing Whitey: United States of America v. James J. Bulger on Thursday. It's a documentary that was produced by CNN.
