I agree, but this particular board had an aneurism after the first episode of TD, and I think a lot of that had to do with it being in Louisiana. There were tons of posts saying it was the greatest show ever before the season was even completed which is ridiculous. I think some of that can be attributed to it being "about" Louisiana.

I saw similar comments on Reddit & TMB. Sure this board may have gone a bit overboard (I was apart of that). But I think it was nationwide.

True Detective is loved by everyone so it's obviously not a people of Louisiana thing.
