speaking of landry, heard him on local dallas radio last week doing an interview
he said he gained all that weight for the movie Black Mass with Johnny Depp and hasnt lost it yet. lol
said this role wasnt intended for him to be a fatass but it ended up that way. i like it. it looks like a normal ND aw shucks husband.

I was thinking it was the Dodd, Jeffrey Donovan.
They mentioned the race to the moon which would have put the scene in the early 60's. Wasn't the eldest son killed in Korea?

It was Dodd. The cut makes it crystal clear the flashback is Dodd's memory. The point is that Dodd, even though he seems like a one-dimensional dick, is actually just as traumatized by the violence he's seen as the Vietnam vets.

Thanks I missed that somehow. Funny they should talk about going to the moon in 1951 when we didn't have a space program in place.
