The change in subject now makes this thread an official Click-Bait Thread.
I wouldnt say that all, Fox positioned F4 to be in between their non comic properties and their Marvel stuff.
HitFix was among the sites saying what a shitty panel that felt forced and the Deadpool lineup was designed to take people's minds off of this film.

ron is strangely protective over this thread, he seems to get upset if people post stories about this movie outside of this thread....
Probably so, but this thread came a long way.

5. The "Fantastic Four" team should just stop talking
You're not canceling the 3D post-conversion because Josh Trank wants to keep the experience "pure" for the audience. You're canceling it because you just locked picture a few days ago.
Come on. At this point, release the film you're going to release. Stop playing the game of disinformation. And don't spin it. Just don't say anything if you've got to lie about it. The film is what it is, people will like it or they won't, and when you put out these kinds of statements, it makes it impossible for me to quote anything the filmmaker says at all.
I hope it's good. I really do. But I don't like this part of the game at all

Just in case you don't follow The Daily SuperHero on Twitter or Facebook, last night my local press screening rep told me there's a press embargo on FANTASTIC FOUR reviews until the day it releases, on August 7. I'm no stranger to this strategic studio tactic. Usually when a press embargo is held until the release date of a movie it's due to the studio wanting to hide all opinions until the last possible second in order to not sway moviegoers if a film is getting bad reviews.

Jurassic World had a press embargo.
After watching the press rape Pixels, I'd embargo my film as well.

Not up until the day of. There is always a review embargo on films. Usually that embargo is lifted the Sunday or Monday before the film's release. Usually when a studio embargoes up to the day of the release they know they have a shitty product on their hand and are attempting to make as much money at the box office as possible before negative word gets out and decreases return.

Jurrassic World did the same thing and now it's the number 3 movie of all time.

Jurassic World embargo ended at 9pm on the 10th. The first public screenings were on the 11th.

Jurassic World didn't embargo up until the day before...and if the rumored 94 minute running time is true like the Czech film distributor is claiming then everything we've heard about this film is right.
Special screenings on the 5-6 will be up for F4...printed reviews are allowed on the 7th. Online after 4pm on the 6th.

More like 7:00 since its PST. I know they're doing 8:00 or so showings, and I think they're trying to salvage as many Thursday night tickets as they can. I have a feeling that this will be the worst superhero film since Electra and will make the original F4 look great in comparison.

Ron Burgundy is now going on Czech sites to find things to burn down this movie. Did Josh Trank have a sex sandwich with your wife and sister?

Please tell me you mean the 80's original. That would make this one so epically bad we may all have to watch it.

A friend of mine that's in the business told us to never rent your home to a movie production. Said they'll rip out bushes, trees, walls, whatever gets in the way.
They destroyed it. They didn't give a crap about anything.
