I guess this means The Flash on tv isn't cannon.

I'm going to believe the tv version of Flash is cannon, because Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim know what in the hell they are doing. I don't know what these dumb-asses are trying to do.

I don't get the canon thing in respect to this.

There's tv canon and film canon. It's not that hard of a concept to deal with.

And just in case I didn't type it enough. canon, canon, canon, canon, canon, canon, canon, canon, canon, canon

I don't care if it's tv canon, film canon, comic book canon, or the canon of by fragile little mind, this should never be Barry Allen:

Oh and as far as canon vs cannon, I think you might've left this behind:

Canon for what? The comics? The movies? For TV? For cartoons?

Once you're outside of the comics, there is no company-wide canon.

Agree. Now would it be cool if all DC was under one canon. Sure.

But I view it the same as I view Marvel heroes. There's Disney movie canon, there's Sony movie canon and there's Fox movie canon. Then there are the animated canons by each company.

And like with DC, it would be cool if Marvel heroes were all under one canon.

There really is no company-wide canon in the comics either, that's why they have to come up with multiple number of earths. They are constantly retconning events in comics.

My comment was really more of showing my disdain for the direction they appear to be going with the flash, and their movie universe as a whole.

Having a TV Universe and a Film Universe might have been ok, but having 3 TV Universes, 2-3 Animated Universes, 1-2 Film Universes (if the Shazam news was true), is just WAAAYYYY too much.

I got pooped on here for saying that a while back.

Warner Brothers should just cast Henry Cavil as Superman, Batman,Lex Luthor,The Flash, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman and call it good.

I don't know why people continue to shite on the Affleck casting...he couldn't be more perfect for the role. It is awesome casting.

Personally, I even think Jesse Eisenberg is interesting.

But this...Jesus. What the hell?

I have no problem with Affleck, it's all the other casting that sucks.

I think Affleck will make a fine Batman. And I liked Ezra Miller in Wallflower. But he ain't the Flash. And if Batman vs. Superman bombs, DC is flat out fricked.

If DC is smart, The TV Flash will be the movie Flash because of their greatest concept: Multiverse.

Not that I think this Flash is so great, he doesn't seem like Barry at all to me.
