America's Got Talent.

Left before it was over. Interesting, but boring.

It takes a long time to get 43 minutes of footage.

Does Buckskin Bill count?

That and We Play Baton Rouge, hosted by BR's own Pat Shingelton. I was a contestant

plus I was an extra in 3 or 4 NOLA TV filmed things- those are long days

Back when I was 9 or 10 we went to Opryland and saw a Nashville Now broadcast on the old TNN. Randy Travis made one of his early, if not first, appearance on national TV that night.

Completely off topic but I can't mention TNN and not put up the obligatory Lorianne Cook pic and her hotness back in the day...

I went to Letterman in the 90's. Only think I remember is they tell you that you can't go to the bathroom once the show starts and I'd been drinking beers all afternoon.

Only one that might be a possibility was Slime Time at either MGM or Universal Studios. Can't remember if it was taped for TV or just a knock off of the tv show for park guests.

Went to see Letterman a few years back. They make you go wait and get liquored up in a bar owned by Dave, and then give you a big pep-talk telling you to laugh your arse off the whole time. Guests were Kevin Spacey and Amber Heard. Spacey did a pretty good Slick Willy impersonation. By far the best part was Gary Clark Jr. as the musical guest.

As a Psych Intern I volunteered for a crisis call line put on by a local news station after several firemen were killed in a large fire. We were at the studio and they showed us answering calls on tv, though of course my focus was more on the calls than the taping process.

Just local talk shows but I was there for work related reasons.

Always wanted to see a Letterman taping. Had to settle for going to the Hello Deli and meeting Rupert G. He did make a hell of a sandwich.

Do they even still have sitcom studio audiences? Most comedies have gotten rid of the laugh track (thank god).

Bunches, but for work. Leno, Ferguson, Fallon, big three morning shows, and lots of other stuff over the years.

Maybe the oddest experience was waaay back in our rock band days somehow getting booked on Jenny Jones

The guests don't make shite, but the show put everybody from the day's multiple tapings up in the Chicago Executive Plaza with a $200 per room allowance.

So naturally all the poor-arse freaks, sluts, baby daddies, crack moms, midgets and musicians end up at the bar blowing every dime trying to get some deranged sex lined up. Had to be a regular thing there.
