And it was the first animated film nominated for Best Picture. I don't think many Disney animators would disagree this is Disney's finest work.

Maybe it will be very well done, and it may well be worth a look, but realistically speaking, there's probably a limit to how much I'm going to enjoy a 300 year old kids story in musical form. That doesn't mean it can't be good, but I'd be lying if I said I've been waiting for this.

I have lost track of how many "great" musicals and rom coms come out every year.
I don't watch any of them, because I am not a fan of those genres.

movies aren't universally great. People have different tastes.
I have very little interest in being sung a story, especially one about a Disney princess.
