One of my fallback action movies when I'm bored.

Such a shame it didn't get the support in theaters that it deserved.

Karl Urban was perfect for the role.

Plus, Olivia Thrilby...

Pete Travis was on my list as additional directors who would have been good replacements to direct Deadpool.

Mad Max: Fury Road wasn't a bad move. It was hurt by the casting of Charlize Theron though.

Dredd >>> Mad Max: Fury Road

One of the most criminally underrated movies ever made.

That slow motion fall to her death is one of the most memorable scenes I've ever witnessed.

Dredd, The Raid, Fury Road, John Wick...They're all great at what they do, but after awhile I get bored with the non stop, action set pieces. I find myself thinking about the amazing fight choreography, and all the logistics it takes to pull off the stunts...takes me out of the movies.

That's the best part of these action movies though.

100,000 credits

Do you know the Judge you're up against?

No.

Well I do, 100,000 credits.

Not an exact quote, but definitely the most memorable one for me.

It's 1,000,000.

I like the "wait" scene.

"Wait for what? Wait for me to change my mind? Wait for another 2 or 3 seconds of life because you are so fricking weak you just can't stand to see it end?"

"No. Wait for her to shoot you."

i typically watch a movie in bed as I fall asleep. Last night I turned this on, and let's just say I didn't even close my eyes. What an outstanding, simple movie.

This.

I don't know if it's better than Fury Road, but it's close.

On Amazon for a dollar...I'll be checking it out tonight. Had reservations about watching it due to it being a bad Sly movie in the 90s.
