but I can see that they're very much moving towards tying up loose ends for everyone by the end of the season (hopefully).

Gosh, I hope so. I hate when a series ends and leaves unfinished business. I hope Ana and Bates give birth before the season ends. I'd like to see something happy happen with them.

I've now forgotten who knows that Marigold is actually Edith's child and who doesn't. I've forgotten where most of them think she originated.

My one peev is that Mr. & Mrs. Bates are just getting cleared of murder and yet she insists on being miserable. I can understand wanting kids, but, hell, enjoy life for a while.

I'm tired of Thomas going interviews that will go nowhere.

Can we just jump ahead and say that he's now Ian McKellan and have him dance to ymca?

I'm disappointed that there wasn't more coverage of the wedding.

The Dowager was on fire tonight with Lady Crawley delivering a slam dunk. I rewound a few times to hear her.

So... Lady Mary loses a husband to an auto accident... and then dates a race car driver...

She's such an attention whore.

The looks on the family's faces as the maid/wildling told them how Sybil was the best of them all... so awesome.

Yes, the race car driver thing was rather bizarre.

I think they all knew Sybil was the kinder and gentler person. Hearing a declaration was a bit tough for them. I enjoyed Thomas being shot down more than that. He thought he was delivering drama by tattling on a former ladies maid, but it turned into a celebration of her life at Grantham. Delightful!

The passport line from Lady Crawley was priceless.

yeah, that was really weird.

Glad robert showed up and gave the news before daisy buried herself.

although she was being a little bitch.

one thing i always wondered is how the women in the family stay so skinny. they are all rail thin but, they don't do ANYTHING for themselves. Saw one of the maids hand one of them their purses from a table about 6 inches away. Those women should be a lot bigger. Yet, Mrs Patmore runs around like crazy all day and she's the heaviest one.

It still creeps me out to see them waited on while they're still in bed. Especially when it's a married couple and they're sitting up in bed together while the lady's maid stands there chatting with them.

The story line about Mr. Mason and Daisy was a waste of airtime . I am also tired of Thomas. It was rather poignant when Mr. Carson went in and looked at his room one last time.

Glad Tom is back. Is it just me or did he enjoy eating in America a tad too much?

Truly boring.

That was a lame story, too, with the exception that it afforded some Dowager lines and Mrs Crawley's line of the night for me.

I think that towards the end of the season they'll have a heart to heart with the guy and explain to him that he's a part of a family and that they've put up with his shite because of that. Everyone has tried to help the guy at some point. They haven't sacked him because he's the shitty nephew that you just put up with because he's your nephew.

Except, unlike the shitty nephew, Thomas is actually pretty good at his job.

He just gets in trouble with his shitty attitude.
