Brooklyn 99 is legit. Hot rod is hilarious.

I think he's funny in movies.

Btw... The lonely island is not parody music. It's original comedy hip-hop.
Weird al is parody music.

Also, his roast of Franco was the most original thing I've seen since Norm MacDonald roasted Bob Saget with 50s retirement party jokes.

Humor is obviously quite subjective. It might surprise you to learn that people you find funny, others do not. I personally find Andy Samberg hilarious and love his new show. I have seen every episode to date.

I don't get it either. Lame as hell to make a living doing that.

Lonely Island CD- Yes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I never understood why people would buy parody music

First of all, Lonely Island isn't parody music. At all really. It's original hip hop songs that are just funny in nature usually. And those guys are good at what they do...Lonely Island is legit good.

As for Samburg, I think he's funny enough. He's not some comedy genius or anything, but he's pretty funny in some movies, even though they're mostly bit parts (Hot Rod notwithstanding, obviously). And he's funny on SNL sometimes, mostly in the digital shorts or his Wahlberg/Cage impressions, which are pretty spot on and hilarious.

I do think he goes to the "I'm gonna act like this is obvious and you're supposed to laugh because it's supposed to be funny" well a little too much, but that doesn't really bother me.

Oh, and I thought he NAILED the Franco roast bit. I laughed a good bit at that.

And I don't watch Brooklyn 99, but have heard really good things about it though.

Samberg is pretty solid in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
