Where do you rank this all time? I love this movie. It easily has to be top 20 or 15 for me.

I mean I'm a big QT fan, and I do like this movie alot. But top 20 seems pretty ridiculous.

It was good, but maybe top 50, not higher than 40.

I remember thinking "this is my favorite QT movie and one of the best I've ever seen!!!!"

....

And then the last 20 minutes happened.

It's his most comedic.

Movie is funny as hell.

It's almost slapstick.

IDK about that, Hateful 8 was a big time letdown for me.

What would people think about the movie if it ended with with Schultz shaking Candie's hand and the three of them leaving together?

It's a good spaghetti western homage, but not one of Tarantino's best.

As much as I still enjoy QT's works, I wish he'd try making another crime/drama like Pulp Fiction or Jackie Brown (or True Romance). That was him at his best as a writer.

That would be lame and not allow for an extra 35 minutes of film and 50 more n words.

+1

At this point he can shite on film and read the phonebook for dialogue and people would praise it.

Well, it was inspired by the style of Sergio Leone and spaghetti westerns from the 1960s. Even the title character from Django makes a cameo about midway through the movie.

It's very obviously a western.

Was a little too long. Overrated I think bc of the race angle. Had some humorous parts and overall is ok but I'll never watch it again.
