I caught Die Hard 2 today on TV and did a search and got this thread from the dead.
Anywho, after the anti-terrorist Army group has the blank bullet war with the terrorists, John McClain "opens fire" with a fully auto weapon aimed at Carmine in a crowded airport with no one knowing who the bad guys are to prove they are blanks. Every cop has his gun drawn on McClain yet he isn't filled with bullets.

I don't really mind DH2 all that much. A couple of scenes that I didn't care for - the premeditated plane crash, the 5 grenades with a 45 second fuse thrown into the cockpit, etc. but it was enjoyable for the most part. I like it much more than Live Free but it's quite a drastic dropoff from the original.
