Can we have Rita's ghost or flashbacks in something clingy?

I just got so pumped, and then had flashbacks of the finale. Yikes.

True story, my TD handle was inspired by Dexter. I had an account in college, and then did something stupid and got banned. After being in exile, but an avid lurker, for a year or so, I was watching the Edward James Olmos season of Dexter, which referenced a False Prophet throughout the season, I was watching the altar episode, they said it again, and I happened to be lurking. Perfect idea for a new name, it was accepted, and I’ve been back since.

People or animals?

He’d only be 10 or 11 depending on the release

Clyde Phillips returning as well is big news. Show was clearly nowhere near as good when he left after season 4.

Very excited for this.

100% agree

Say what you want about the last half of the series, the first half is as enjoyable as many of the greats imo.

I looked forward to Dexter as appointment TV almost as much as shows like Lost and GoT in their primes. Just fun and always left us wanting more and dying to know how it would all turn out.

If he can help recapture that magic, this will be an awesome revisit

You shouldn't believe a False Prophet.

I guess if this gets good reviews I’ll go back and watch everything

We just finished the series about 5-6 months ago on Netflix, and we both thought it stayed good through the end. There was a little drop off, but I never thought it dragged on or got boring.

Can they just retcon this shite from when he finds Rita in the tub? This show was on the honest to god GOAT track up until that point

Hope they figured out a way to fix the end of the original run.

The end was perfect. Dexter was 180 fed from where the character was in the beginning.

So many people fail to see that, but it's spot on

The only reason I am not a fan of this move is that he has stated publicly how he wanted to end Dexter originally

Good.

I avoided the last season because of how bad it sounded. Hope it does the better part of Dexter proud.

I like the idea of rewriting the ending becuase that lumberjack shite sucked. But at this point (bringing the original show runner back) we already know the ending. Dexter comes to, realizing that every conversation he had with his dead father is actually with the jury and he wakes up at the Florida Penitentiary. Drugs about to be administered and Dexter looks out through the window to the observation gallery, and in the gallery are all the people that he killed

Pretty much pointless like El Camino was for Breaking Bad. I know Todd was an a-hole to Jesse based on their breaking bad interaction. I didnt need to see it El camino.
