Patton or SPR for WW2. Both show WW2 well.

World War II needs to be split up...or the whole movie needs to be changed.

Thin Red Line is the best one describing war.

Saving Private Ryan is just a good story.

I don't have time to make a list right now but the best Vietnam War movie is Apocalypse Now and the best movie about the Civil War is Gone With The Wind.

That would be the old Battle of New Orleans movie about Andrew Jackson and Jean Laffite.

I'm pretty sure there is none, but their needs to be. It would be great if they followed some of the future Civil War generals.

I prefer "We Three Kings", personally.

"Behind Enemy Lines" is a great one for the Balkans conflict.
"Argo" for the Iranian Hostage Crisis

We need a movie about the War with the Barbary Coast Pirates. I want a pirate war movie, dammit!!!
