Where are your favts and qualifications as you have presented nothing factual to refute.

You've got it backwards, kid. You made the assertion. It's up to you to defend it. ETA: Furthermore, what facts have you presented?

Man you are pathetic. You can have any opinion you want. Nobody is bashing you because you didn't like the movie. You are making outlandish claims as to know what marketing strategies worked for this movie and what didn't. Strongback never claimed to know which marketing worked or didn't so I see no need for him to provide facts. You did make those statements. There are no facts you can provide that will say in all certainty that no one saw the Valentine's Day stuff and was drawn in by it.

Lorne would let this happen when hell freezes over. Literally. It's not a good idea, it's stupid don't get me wrong. But he would never subject his baby to a gimmick like that.

It's amazing how hard it is for people to admit they were wrong to strangers on the Internet.

Valentine's Day marketing worked on my wife. She has never heard of Deadpool but loves Ryan Reynolds. She saw that VDay ad and told me we should go see it.

I told her what it was and she watched the Deadpool trailers. It got her on the Deadpool bandwagon and we went and saw it. So it at least worked on one person.

but the fake Valentine's movie stuff did not draw anyone in to see Deadpool

That's a pretty cut and dry statement. You wanna pick the phone back up and continue to make a fool of yourself?

When are you going to defend your factually incorrect statement?

I'll hang up and listen.

Is anyone else annoyed with all the deadpool hype / ads? The concept of the movie sounds interesting, and I was thinking about seeing it, but all of the ads have been super lame.

Anything having to do with comic book movies and/or comic movie fanboys is annoying - including things like this which at least involve some meta commentary on the comic book movie movement itself. It all just needs to go away.

You can't stand that someone has a different opinoin than you or you apparently do not know the difference between a statement of opinion and statement of a fact.

You've moved the goalpoasts so many times they are now in the parking lot. Sorry you can't deal with a differing opinion, life must be very hard for you.

Better get used it, buttercup. Comic book movies and comic book fanboys aren't going anywhere.

so you've been reduced to playing the literal game that only little kids and politicians do when they are trying to wriggle out of something?

Your "opinion" (although you presented it as a fact) is that the Valentine's Day marketing drew no one to see Deadpool. A poster just stayed that it worked on his wife.

Sometimes it's best to take the L and move on.

ETA: You've still done nothing to defend your Valentine's Day marketing assertion.
