Who still watches this show? I do, but I'm questioning why because it is the same thing every year

I watched it on and off until that young douche blonde captain came around. Couldn't take him.

I still watch every episode and enjoy it. I think I love the big waves and the injuries.

That's why I watch. I don't catch every show but I'll watch when I see it.

I've watched it since the beginning. It's definitely changed a lot. Too much of it now seems just made for TV. I miss Phil.

I still watch it, and I have questioned it too. I still like it for some reason.

I still watch it occasionally, but not like I used to. Still holding out hope that they stuff Keith in a pot and dump him overboard.

Keith acts like a dick, but it has been revealed that is actually a good guy.

I can hear it.

Why does Wild Bill have so much damn trouble with green horns compared to the other boats?

I thinks it's mostly the guys on the deck..they'll ride and belittle the greenies until they reach the breaking point and just shut down..I know I would..you can only take so much before you wanna throat punch somebody..

Good point. It's much more mean spirited than on the other boats.

I still watch every episode and enjoy them. I don't see many of the offshoots like After the Catch etc., but I watch the original Deadliest Catch. Although I do enjoy it, I have to wonder how much of it is actually staged these days, like Jonathan accidentally setting the pot 20 minutes before the season starts but the Coast Guard lets him off the hook etc. That one looked a little pre-planned to me.

I quit years ago, which was long after I should have. I enjoyed learning about crabbing, weather, boats, etc., but all the fake/scripted drama got old.

I saw a 2016 episode listed on the guide last night and was surprised to see they were still making new ones.

Probably most of it, if it's like it used to be.

Likely scripted that way for his character.

I've been watching from the beginning and still do. While I'm sure plenty of it is made for TV, you can't fake the weather and waves of the Bering Sea. That's what keeps me watching..

It is pretty good, I enjoy it still. It is one of the shows that I have on the background while I play with my iPhone at night.

"Captain, how about turning into the wind for a little while so we can get some shots of green water over the bow?"
