Who is one hero or villain from each respective company that you think would work well for the other company.

I think Green Lantern in Marvel would be really cool. Marvel has great cosmic stories and he would also have some good interactions with the other Marvel heroes.

From Marvel, I would like to see the Punisher (while not necessarily a "hero") in the DC Universe. He seems the absolute opposite of most of DC's characters. He would instantly create interesting stories. Especially in Gotham.

which of DC's heroes acts like the Punisher? the only one i can think somewhat fits that category is Red Hood but hes no Frank Castle and is mostly contained to a back up role.

Lobo to Marvel he fits in better there, would be a Guardian of the Galaxy type.

Spider-Man to DC

He just seems (now) to be more a DC style character than a Marvel one.

Red Arrow has gone down that path a little at times too, but I know what you mean.

His personality fits in the darker DC universes. He's a much odder fit for marvel honestly

Kyle Rayner Green Lantern would be a pretty solid fit in the Marvel Universe, but my favorite would be The Joker as a Spider Man villain.

Captain America would fit seamlessly in the DC Universe.

Ghost Rider seems like the kind of book Alan Moore would've written and been largely left alone by the powers that be. He'd be a good fit for the DC universe back in the day, maybe not as much now. Now, I'd say Apocalypse, who is just too superpowered for the ordinary Marvel universe. He'd be a better Superman villain.

And while sort of sacreligious, I think Wonder Woman would do better in the Marvel universe, which has recently done better by its female heroes than DC has. I wish there was an equivalent to the Carol Corps for Wonder Woman.

I think kingpin would make for an interesting Bruce Wayne villain more so than "strait on batman" for a small series.

Could be written to where they battle in other types of public avenues and he actually has to overcome him without batman. Depending on the writing (which I'm sure would be better than my small description) it could work, or fail miserably.

Captain America is more of a DC hero than he is Marvel.

Creeper fits in with Marvel, with the Ditko design and all.

i feel like a lot of flash villains would make for spider-man ones and vice versa. those are oddly similar in tone.

Happened in the crossover. Wolverine isn't powerful enough for DC.

Green Arrow is basically Hawkeye.

Thor would work well in DC. Same for Hulk.

If you think about it, every character has a counterpart in the other universe already.

i was thinking about this but im not sure how the banner/hulk dynamic would go over. it could work, but i cant think of a counterpart that dc has for that character.
