What is the possibility that Disney is smart enough to do this?

This movie would destroy the box office

I'd actually love a movie that takes place right after episode 3 and we get to see his path of destruction that leads up to before rogue one

Considering we'll be getting a movie every year from now until forever, I'd say its bound to happen at some point.

I'd love to see him right after Order 66 hunting down any surviving Jedi. Or have him be the villain in that sort of movie as we follow the protagonist who he's trying to hunt down.

When will then be now?

Yeah, but would it be rated R and make money? Lots of discussion about that in the Rogue One thread.

Nope, no need for overkill. Less is more. However, I would love to see a movie that focuses on the"sith." Maybe a Darth Plagueis film.

I think that would be the premise that would be most desired.

Star Wars: Why We Need a Darth Vader R-Rated Standalone Film

No way they would ever make it R-rated

He's a character that works best in small doses.

JEJ is almost 90. Doubt it will be completed by 2020 meaning he won't make it unless they have him record his lines before filming even begins.

Vader is like Jaws. Less is more.

I would also like to see a Sith centered movie, but I agree it should be a Plagus centric deal. Maybe one where we ultimately see him "create" Anakin before Palpatine kills him...if he's actually dead that is.

Would be badass to see him in his war glory. Like that glimpse at the end of Rogue One where he just wrecks shite. But then again, would there be enough story for a movie? Could it just be two hours of him killing everyone Palpatine wants dead? Where would the suspense come from?

I'd like to see it.

This would be the issue; you HAVE to have his voice. I don't care how close someone else gets, if we know it's a different voice actor, we'll be able to tell.

I'd rather see them go to the Knights of the Old Republic storyline.

I don't know,

Jones provided the voice for Rogue One and that didn't sound right at all.

Its basically 2017, his voice can be mimicked, tuned etc.

Our of all the fans out there, I bet 1 somewhere has a spot on.

Not saying it's smiled upon but, if he died it would be understandable.
