You know he got the Revelations 7:12 quote wrong in the movie. It was actually Revelations 6:12 that he quoted. I got curious one day and looked it up. Couldn't find it until I read the whole chapter.

As I've gotten older I've picked up on more of the jokes. Watching as a kid a few went over my head. It is a great cast and a great movie.

watched a boot leg of the new one. I didn't hate it. But screw Bill Murray for having a part in it and stopping Ghostbusters 3 from being made for all those years that Ramis was still alive.

It really wasn't that bad of a movie, I liked some parts and McKinnon was great. It was McCarthy and Wig I didn't like. I laughed more at Patty than either of those two.

used to love that. I had the ecto-1 and the firehouse that you could pour the slime through the roof and have it drip through to the bottom.

It's amazing how you catch more and more as you age.

I always remember seeing adults laugh at scenes I didn't get at the time.

Great movie that gave me possibly my favorite film quote of all time:

my favorite quote from the movie is:

"If I'm wrong, we go to jail, peacefully, quietly, we'll enjoy it. But if I'm right and we can stop this thing, then Lenny, you will have saved the lives on millions of registered voters"

The mayor and the Cardinal nod, just subtle and hilarious.

I recently salvaged this from my parents house. It's sitting in the corner of my bedroom now.

Let me stop you there, Napoleon.

The Sony email hack revealed that Sony execs were going to threaten to sue Murray if he didn't appear in the new Ghostbusters.
He didn't want to be there, and it apparently shows in the film.

This is the best, but I've always loved this one too:

Just a tidbit - the slime used in Ghostbusters was made and came from the Cellulose unit in Dow Plaquemine.

One of my favorite scenes in movie history. It's prefect and shows how dark the movie could've been like Aykroyd originally wanted.

The final shot when the music starts with the Verrazano at dawn and the towers in the background… incredible.

damn, for frame of reference what's your favorite comedy?

I'm just not a huge Comedy fan, like that's not my genre. So, I don't have a particular favorite, but a couple off of the top of my head would be Super Troopers or Office Space. I like Stripes better than Ghost Busters if we're talking Bill Murray stuff (and Zombieland was great).

Ghostbusters holds up really well. Great cast and plot, subtle humor. Loved it as a kid and I've only grown to love it more over the years
