Man what a great movie this was!! If you're on the fence about this movie, go see it. Definitely worth the price of admission

It was the best Rocky since the first one, IMO. Great movie.

It was better than at least 3 of the Rocky movies. When that bell dinged to start off his training montage, I got goosebumps. I thought the movie was really really good. However as many cameo's that Sly got for the later movies, he should have reached out to the woman who originally played Apollo's wife. I didn't like that Phylicia Rashaad played Mrs. Creed.

Stallone has stayed pretty true to cast members in the Rocky franchise. I was really surprised the original actress wasn't cast in the new film.

Holy crap Drogo as like the corrupt President of Russia with ties to the FSB and Oligarchs helping to finance a new generation of super roided up athletes would be awesome.
Hell, if they wanted to do a different spin on it- Creed could fight the giant Russian, and just start brutally beating him in the final round and lose on a DQ to set up a sequel-- have him do the Ali "What's my name?" thing while glaring at Drago in the front row.
OT: but whoa Rocky 4 was like a prophecy-- E. Europeans kind of took over the HW division for a decade, though the Klitchskos would be pissed to be compared to a Russian)

Just saw it, excellent movie.
Though it ended like most fights now really end and how the last Rocky (and first) movie ended.

It's not Rocky.
Movie standards have really gone downhill.
Just re-watched Rocky and what a movie - gritty, real, slow-burn 70's cinema. That was a real movie and boxing was somewhat ancillary. But it was made with a careful hand.
Creed was rushed and basically a stupid storyline.
Creed feels like a Spring Break video in comparison and yet everyone loves it. Standards have gone to hell.
Movie-making has gone to hell to some degree. Cheap mimicry now passes as great film-making. Everything also looks cheap on the screen and video or bad CGI...hopefully the Hateful 8 on 70mm will look awesome. Otherwise we are stuck with movies forever looking like cheap 90's porn films.
