Damn this thread is reminding me of the Hodor thread with all the confusion about Moat Cailin/Winterfell.

There should be no confusion.

Where do you think the show is taking Ramsay's character? Will Sansa speak to Reek?

Good read. That pumped me up for tonight.

Odd, that's not the school from Texas I would have predicted to take a vow to "take no wife" and "father no children."

I think the Aggies are either unsullied or in Renly's Rainbow Guard

Does anyone really doubt R+L=J?

My fear is that GRRM will troll all of us and find out that that is the most popular theory and completely change it to frick with everyone.

I thought he might change it since everyone has pretty well guessed it, but with the hints dropped on the show now I've never been more certain.

Anybody live on the Westcoast? I'm just wondering what it is like to watch GOT at 6. Being on the East Coast, I am envious of all other time zones.

Laid out very well. Thanks for posting.
Really looking forward to tonight..

They still get it at 8 if they want to watch it when it first airs over there. Most of my friends out there just watch it on HBOGo as soon as it is posted.

Altering the book like that would all but ruin him as a writer respect wise. What makes the books so good is you can pick up on upcoming events through his subtle foreshadowing and context clues. Changing the story because his writing was "too" good to the readers would be astronomically silly.

I hate east coast time . Thanks for the explanation.

Yea, he should just acknowledge it by now. It's mostly considered canon at this point.
If it turns out this whole Iron Born angle means nothing, I'm going to personally gut that fat man.
ETA: that goes for all POV characters. I wanted me some Arianne Martell.

The Iron Borne have always been bush league. My expectations for them are low. The Aegon/Connington angle being irrelevant is more bothersome to me.

I like book Asha and am a little disappointed that her badassness has been squashed in the show. Victarion is ok, but I couldn't care less what happens to the rest of the Iron Born.
Agreed on the Aegon/Connington angle though. Even if he ended up as Faegon (and I think that's the case) it could've still translated to screen to some degree.
