she wasn't really pressuring him to say that though. It wasn't like Blue Bard who she tortured to get him to say what she wanted. Cersei just asked why he was spending so much time with Margaery and he came out with the Moon Tea excuse. Which makes me wonder what he was really doing spending so much time with Margaery.

I thought that was really just a public show and that Cersei had told Pycelle what to say earlier.

I would think the Tyrells would support Aegon if it meant Margaery were to be Queen...Cersei has ruined the Tyrell Lannister alliance with no room for repairing it, so why not jump on the Aegon wagon?

I feel that Varys did more damage to their relationship than what Cersei did. I believed that the Tyrell's & the Lannister's in power viewed Cersei as an outcast.

That's how I see it as well. The Tyrell men will open the gates for Aegon's army from the inside and Margeary will poison Tommen to prove the Tyrell's loyalty to Aegon's cause.

But in cruel twist of fate Aegon is married off to mrycella instead of Margeary.
Which would be wise because it gives them a claim to storms end and the rock; not that it matters because aegon is getting the axe.
