Holy crap that last episode

I believe this was the end of the season, if I'm not mistaken.

I REALLY have no idea where they are going from here...but, I like where they took this show in Season three

pretty sure Canadian - one more episode

US - two more episodes

and now it's a mindfrick - its as we suspected.....we're now facing a series of multiple timelines instead of just changing this timeline. It's one way to go about it, but it makes me, the viewer, feel like I've lost something as I've invested time into seasons 1 and 2....with this outcome, kinda feels like a waste. The whole "get back to my family" arc, just up and left the room in a sense

so now, have to wonder - can we get back to that original timeline we started on? was the wrong Kiera killed? was the wrong Alec locked up?

This doesn't seem possible. Even if they go back again to "fix" things again...something else will put it all out of whack. They have made this point very clear. Here's the thing, are Kiera and Soldier Boy now in charge of time travel? Kind of seems that way. But, it's hard to tell exactly where they are mentally and what their "end game" is...or do they even know???

quote:

was the wrong Kiera killed?

Probably.

quote:

was the wrong Alec locked up?

Definitely.

And your point about the first two season is very well...on point. I do feel like we have lost all of it now. The back story really has no place any more. Even her flashbacks of work and such, all of that seems like a waste now.

no way dude, they could totally go back and Bill & Ted this whole thing

I would say no - whomever has control over the magic orange slices and/or the Freelancer tilt-a-whirl controls time

...or Curtis Chen - that dude does whatever in the frick he wants

That would be epic.

It's probably that dude from 1000 years ago (or was it 1000 years into the future? Probably that), that has the Vader like voice. That dude is the one that was calling the shots all along. Which they probably just decided in the last ep or two

That dude did what he wanted at the end of the ep, that's for dang sure

But Chen said he was the prisoner

so, lets suppose that Rob Zombie has the ability, the perception to detect and identify changes in the timeline. We know he was able to "merge" a dead Chen from one timeline with a living one from another. He's being held against his will as some sort of unwilling participant that does the freelancer's doing - creating that time tree of life thing and being the compass by which Catherine and her faction make their decisions.

if he wanted to be free, couldnt he make slight nudges and adjustments to produce the outcome he wanted? Have Curtis free him

Yeah, but after all that just happened...is that still the case?

How good is this show? I watched the first season, but never picked it back up (mainly because I lost track of when it was on). I'm trying to decide if I need to pick it back up.

The third season really has been great. I enjoyed seasons 1 and 2, but this last season took everything to a whole new level. If you have been through season 1, I highly recommend you pick right back up with season 2 and enjoy the ride!

1. Why does this thread never pull up when I search for "Continuum"???

2. Kellog is one sneaky SOB

3. Uh oh. Things just got a lot worse.
