March 25- Batman Vs Superman. Número UNO for me. I've been waiting for a long time for the greatest superheroes in comic books, marvel or DC, to finally meet up in live action. Henry Cavill is already a great Superman. Affleck has incredible potential.

May 6- Captain America- Civil War. Number two and I'm really excited because this is just basically avengers 2.5 and I'm intrigued by the superhero vs superhero storyline and gov't agent vs vigilante.

August 5- Suicide Squad. Number three. I was just sold on Harley and Joker. Robbie and Leto are going to be fricking amazing in those roles. It's a fresh new take on their roles.

Feb 12- Deadpool. Number Four. He's one of the funniest guys in comics and he does not have the moral code that Spiderman has and he can make being a bad guy really funny whereas we woukd normally be repulsed by him.

May 27- Xmen: Apocalypse. Number five. Apocalypse is one of my favorite x-men villains because he takes magnetos ideology a step further which is the total eradication of humans and weak mutants he considers unfit.

October 7- Gambit. Number Six. I'm really not expecting a lot from this. I just hope they don't fubar his new Orleans and Cajun origins.

November 4- Dr Strange. Really don't have much of an interest in this. I'll go and see if it gets good reviews.

Its hilarious that you quoted Vader and left Star Wars out.

I took the title to mean grade the 2016 comicbook movies. Star Wars is neither a comic movie or a 2016 release.

I'm 44 years old, so of course I'm a huge Star Wars fan. It's the movie/franchise that defined my generation. I've got Star Wars memorabilia throughout my house, and my kids have grown up on it as well. I didn't intensionally leave Star Wars out of the list. I was referring to comic book superhero movies which I didn't specify in the title. It was an oversite on my part which I took for granted that you would understand the difference.

Just to be precise, "Flipped me around," on Luthor and Wonder Woman, not necessarily the film which still looks fairly meh. I am hopeful, however, that some of the new creative players smooth out kinks in Snyder's world. That remains to be seen.

#1 - CA: Civil War. AoU didn't have character overload imo so I'm most excited about Avengers 2.5

#2 - X-Men. The age of apocalypse was my favorite crossover event and my 2nd favorite storyline behind dofp.

#3 - Gambit. I'm gonna catch some flack for this being so high. He was always one of my favorite characters and the combo of sketchy background and being more powerful than many folks give him credit for could make a fun movie. Plus I like Channing Tatum.

#4 - Dr. Strange. I'm no fan of the mystical side of comics so this one is more curiosity/hesitancy for me.

#5 - All the rest. I kinda hate the DC movies in general, so I'll probably keep my money and see those as rentals. Deadpool may be a little much for my sensitivities That one may be an edited for TV watch

May 6- Captain America- Civil War
Definitely looking forward to Cap. It's arguably the best Marvel comic storyline of this era as well.

November 4- Dr Strange
Always one of my favorite comics, as it delights in downright weirdness. Has the potential to be great.

I think that Dr Strange may pleasantly surprise everyone. Cumberbatch is a fine actor, and there's no reason to believe he can't pull it off.

Ticket sales around Ant-Man numbers I'm guessing.

Same here. The fact that it is listed as a February release doesn't give me high hopes as far as its quality is concerned. The January/February time frame is usually where movie studios dump their trash.

Feb 12- Deadpool
I am really looking forward to this. I'm not a big fan of Ryan Reyonds, but he really seems to want to do this right and is a huge comic fan. He is much more involved in this than either of his other two comic books. I almost see this as his apology to die-hard comic nerds. I hate Fox owning the rights to the mutants, but i want this to be successful.

March 25- Batman Vs Superman
I am so nervous about this movie. I love the characters but i really have not cared for their movies outside of the performance of Heath Ledger. I want this to be a huge hit and really force Marvel to push the envelope with their own movies. I seem to be in the minority about Kevin Smith's former bff being the Bats.

May 6- Captain America- Civil War
I love Captain America. I loved the Civil War storyline. Ever since this movie has been announced i have been dreading it. They can't give that story the respect it deserves in two/three hours. I hope I love it, i doubt i will. Granted i have doubted Marvel about a billion times, and they have almost always surprised me.

May 27- Xmen: Apocalypse
I hated the other two X Men movies. Hell i hated them all after the first one and that one gets a pass because it was the first major comic book movie. Fox has repeatedly proved they dont care about the source material and just pushes out crap to avoid losing the rights. I can see how non comic book fans can enjoy them, they are funny movies. But they are horrible comic book movies made worst because the X-Men books are what got me into comics.

August 5- Suicide Squad
I am looking forward to it. Hopefully it is good, i would like to see them take this as proof that DC's B list can carry movies too. I want a Red Hood & the Outlaws movie (Jason Todd in SS leads to his own movie as Red Hood? Yes, please)

October 7- Gambit
See Deadpool. Same thing only with Tatum.

November 4- Dr Strange
I think Marvel will knock this out of the park and people will love it. They said they wont do origin stories anymore so hopefully they jump right in and model the movie after the feel the character had in the sevenities. Steve Englehart and Frank Brunner made Doctor Strange what he is, and they need to get some writers and a director that can recreate that. (By this i mean that those two would drop acid or shrooms and wonder around New York, using what they saw on their trip as inspiration for Doctor Strange)

I think it will be much higher and end up getting 250$ mill or so. Cumberbatch is a more widely known actor than Rudd, especially overseas. Also, people are more likely to see a movie about magic and sorcery than a movie about a guy the size of an Ant and rides on top of them.

Suicide Squad and Deadpool are at the top of my list. Batman vs Superman is a distant 3rd. I still need to see Man of Steel though.
