DC is going to be T-O-U-G-H

While DC characters are usually considered the more powerful, Marvel actually has more god tier characters. Galactus, Living Tribunal, Eternity, Order & Chaos, The Stranger, The Phoenix Force, etc and then there's the whole Infinity Gems issue.

DC doesn't really have any god tier characters on that kind of level aside from the Anti-Monitor (that I can think of).

I think it's pretty clear that he doesn't want to include Dr. Strange on account of the fact that he is close to, if not actually, god-tier. The same is true of Thor and Silver Surfer. He wants a contest between characters who are not so powerful that they can wipe out a hundred other superheroes in the blink of an eye, like all three of those can.

He may want to take out Jean Grey, since she could wipe the floor with all those choices.

Guess excluding the actual "New Gods." DC usually does a good job of not having so many all powerful heroes. There are a few but I think marvel has more

Rogue Namor and Wonder Man are all similar though.

JMO - I'd put Rogue into a separate category at least with her ability to absorb the powers of other creatures. She's always seemed like the Hulk's theoretical kryptonite to me.

I put them on the same level as Marvel's Asgardians or Eternals.

Might have to move some around once we add DC, but that's how I would construct Brackets. Daredevil and Cap could fit in Superhuman. Namor can be shifted.

Add DC's

There's some obscure comic where rogue absorbed the she-hulk's powers. I'm not saying she would beat the hulk because: a) not every fight between two people ends the same way b) sometimes writers sort of love one character or hate another and do things that are unfair to the mythology of the less favored character c) she'd have to have enough contact with a non-peak enraged hulk to absorb his powers anyway. if he was already rared up there's no way to maintain the contact long enough for it to work for her.

Eh, he;s just somewhat popular. And an alien. And I'd always hope to get Beta Ray Bill in...but not going to happen.

Understandable. I haven't seen or read anything about him, but maybe replace Kilowog with Lobo. I was never a fan, but Lobo is an alien and pretty powerful.
