I was trying to find a show for my kid to watch on Sunday morning and I saw that TMNT was on Nick. I knew it was the new TMNT, but I thought I'd give it a shot. It just happened to be this pretty interesting crossover episode where they had the classic TMNT characters enter the new TMNT world through a dimension portal. They even got the original voice actors to do the voices of the classic characters. It was really well done and I recommend any fans of the original to watch it.

Spoilers:

They go back to the classic TMNT dimension and the animation changes from digital to the classic stuff. They even cross over into the comic book. Also, classic Krang is in there!

I have a 5 year old boy, so I've seen it.

Shamelessly, I watch them all with him. They are not bad at all.

"Turtles Forever" is a good movie I caught on Nickelodeon a couple months ago that has the old turtles joining the new turtles in their dimension

I'm in my 30's and I love the Nickelodeon show. They make some great references to the old cartoon, the movies and even the old NES game.

If you're a fan of the turtles, I highly recommend giving the show a shot.

The old turtles look so much better. I don't get why they changed to that polygram look

Reminds me of smash bros on 64

My 1yr old watches TMNT and Saturday, I was getting dressed and he was watching that episode in our bedroom and it caught me by surprise. I used to be a huge TMNT fan as a kid

It was cool to see that late 80's/early 90's animation again.

I watched it at lunch today. Not bad. Granted, I don't know jack shite about any new version of TMNT, but it was cool how they kept jumping through each universe, including the comics even.

And I had no idea that Gilbert Gottfried was Krang in that one version of TMNT.

Still great...

If you have 60 minutes to spare just google TMNT documentary. It's free on you tube and tells the story of how it came to be. Awesome for a kid who grew up in the 80s

Not really. The space arc and the episodes at the farm house went on way too long.
