The movie also made me realize the power of social media. Without his son there they would have been dead in the water.

I'm guessing this also actually translates to real life in the sense that if you have a powerful social media presence the support you will garner is much greater.

Hmmm, actually, it got decent "indie love" from the critics. I was expecting more. I thought it was charming, but certainly not great.

Good fun movie.

My favorite place in Austin, Homeslice Pizza, is shown pretty prominately in one scene.

Although I could never figure out how the hot chick from modern family got her $

The way I understood it was Martin's divorce settlement.

It was a nice feel good movie with a little genuine edge to it.

Wife and I literally did the same thing. Watched it Sunday. Went to get a Cuban Monday.

It was nothing like the one in the movie though

Oh and that grilled cheese he made for his kid

Correct, She got her money from her divorce settlement with her 1st husband, Robert Downey Jr's character, Marvin

Watched it yesterday. Watched it for the food porn, and it definitely delivered.

Now I'm itching to turn on the music and cook tonight.

Loved how they repped New Orleans so hard.

Storyline was underwhelming but it definitely was behind my dusting off the sandwich press.

Yeah, the story was cheesy. I actually have 15 minutes left that I didn't finish, but I feel like I saw all the food porn and I could guess the ending, so I doubt I'll finish

Just watched. Decent. Good food porn cinematography. Typical storyline, but watchable.

Admire the credit-roll showing Roy teaching John Favreau how to flip the sandwich. They made the effort, and it showed.

The food is awesome, but the story pretty much sucks. I was shocked it got as much love as it did.

i thought it was a very good movie
lots of eye candy(women & food), likable characters, humor and as someone else mentioned lots of love for NOLA

i thought it was funny how he didn't get to kiss or really even touch scarlett jo or sofia
must have been in the contract
