Yeah. I don't recall the music at the end of LOST because I was too busy fuming at the train wreck.

Exactly.

It could have been Vivaldi for all I care, LOST was such a wasted show by the end.

I already brought it up that the score reminded me of Tron. And that is a good thing.

It was the only thing I went back and rewatched.

Great.

ETA: SFP, do you agree that that one track sounded like Tron?

LOST was the GoaT piece of shite by the end of its run.

You are high as hell.

Where did LOST touch you?

But there are plenty of people who think the ending of LOST was perfect. If you think the end was a trainwreck, then you likely didn't understand it.

Tron Legacy? Not really. I haven't listened to the original Tron's soundtrack in a while though so maybe you meant that.

This GoT music was extremely similar to the recurring theme used in The Leftovers, although The Leftovers score is better. The GoT music is still awesome though.

And I agree with a previous poster that Battlestar Galactica's score is probably best all time.

For comparison, here's The Leftover's score compared to GoT's Light of the Seven. Both are great, but if you've listened to The Leftover's theme for 2 seasons, you probably weren't as blown away for GoT's score.

Crazy similar. And both HBO series.

And hell, just because the score fro The Leftovers is just some friggin' awesome, here's another piece... November

The pipe organ score when the green wildfire was going to explode....thats what I'm talking about.

1. the GoT score from the finale was freaking amazing and gave me chills. watched it 3 times already

2. the leftovers score is my current favorite score from any TV show. so chilling

3. the LOST finale was perfect. dipshits love to play the role of going against the grain but i loved it.

Why can't we just say that the scores from GoT and LOST were both great? Why must everything be a competition? Geez.

People have personal preferences. I loved this score but it just happened. LOST is my all-time TV greatest, but this one may take it - or not. Sorta like the score for Sideways is one I keep on my phone too. I'm sure I'll grow tired of it one day.

We all have different taste. To all be the same is boring anyway.

My wife was going nuts over the music throughout the finale. She couldn't get over how great it was.

The first 15 minutes is easily my favorite sequence from the series. I noticed the score above everything else, and it was extremely uncharacteristic for the show. It just worked.

I did actually think to myself during the scene that the score reminded me of Leftovers and wondered if it was the same composer. I've never looked into who does either score.

Also felt the score sounded like something Philip Glass would compose.
