I never thought it was possible to get bored from watching big robots blow shite up.

But after an hour and twenty minutes of nothing but explosions, Michael bay finally wore me down and I fell asleep. First time I have ever done that

So much action that it gets boring

This is often my critique about action movies. I'm a dialogue guy who loves action with a purpose.

The movie was excellent
Plot flowed well

Acting was pretty good - loved what marky mark brought to the table. Fun watching him build things and interesting interplay with his daughter

And Optimus prime! One of the greatest characters in literary or cinematic history. Loved his chest - if les miles was a robot he would be Optimus. The ending with his determination to find the creators is really philosophical

Wasnt it weird that Optimus just takes off into space at the end? Seemed a random thing to do, plus I didn't know he could fly.

I know you're trolling but whatev.

I just watched it yesterday.
I actually liked all 3 of the Shia one's.

That being said, i thought this movie was terrible.
TOo much Marky Mark acting like he did in the cop movie with Will Ferrell, which i found hilarious, but i don't want that in a transformers movie. The acting and attempts at humor seemed forced and just unnecessary.

the storyline was long, boring and didn't make sense at times. Two separate occasions the action just stopped and the autobots get away and i have no idea what made the bad guys stop going after them. it's like they were there one minute and then gave up going after them.
They sneak onto a ship that somehow has no idea they are on it, or that they jettison a part of it, and this ship is supposed to be harboring some of the biggest prisoners in the universe. You'd think they would know when people are on it shooting guns and yelling like morons on it.

If they plan on making more of that, i'll be sure to not waste my time watching it, and that's saying a lot considering I'm a huge fan of the newer action comic movies.

I enjoyed Kelsey Grammar in the CIA bad guy role. Hope he ends up doing some more bad guy stuff.

This. But I also thought Wahlberg's character to be much better than Shia Labeouf's. Wahlberg at least was given something to do during the action scenes, whereas Labeouf was merely shown running through a hail of explosions in slow motion, screaming, "OPTIMUS!"

Notice that Bumblebee sneaks on the ship with the group and then completely vanishes for the entire visit.
