soooooooo If Vic comes back, and James pretty much sends him packing, yeah he's fricked.

I think all contestants plus jury members will be playing. The longest standing juror wins buyback

If that's what it is, it heavily favors short people with small feet. James, Natalie, Da and Z.

Didn't James win that one last year?

No I'm annoyed with James because he is a spineless bastard who in two seasons has made a game move other than "what the house wants."

But his game plan coming into the house was to lay low for the first half of the season, throw comps, and be well liked in the house. Not putting Frank & Bridgette up would've gone against that plan (actually, winning the comp in the first place went against it). I don't fault him for putting Frank & Bridgette up, I fault him for winning the comp in the first place.

Yep, it favors James, Bridgette, & Day (who were the final 3 in the last endurance comp that James won).

Forgot about Bridgett, and I'd add Paul. Paul and James being the last 2 up there would be an epic battle.

Does not favor Paulie, Vic, or Corey at all.

Yeah winning that comp was dumb, but he wants this reputation that he is a good, honest, hardworking southern boy, but he's broken two very huge promises in two seasons. Imagine if he was in Vic's position last night promising to put Paul up next week (in his case Natalie), who would believe him? I get you need to lie some, but he doesn't lie strategically or privately. Idk could just be me, but I hate his game play.

He lies to get out of uncomfortable, confrontational conversations.

Publically breaking promises during endurance comps is definitely a very bad decision. Like you said, no one will trust you after that. I'm surprised he didn't catch more flack for that when he did it to Bridgette this season.

It's not just you, a lot of people don't like his game play. But for me, I looks at his position currently in the house and I think he has set himself up about as best as he could've. Nat, Nicole, Corey, nor possibly Michelle (she's iffy) would ever target him until final 3. If Day or Bridgette come back in the house, they probably wouldn't target him immediately either (Day would probably take him to final 3 also). The only ones that would target James next week are Paul and either Victor or Paulie if they come back (who know what in the hell Z would do).

James convincing Nat & Michelle to keep with the plan to evict Victor after Paul won the veto was the best for his game, even though it was probably not the best for Nat and especially Michelle's game. Nicole and Corey might now target Michelle and even Nat before Paul after the work Paul put in last night, but they still won't target James on purpose. So again, I think he has positioned himself the best he could during this past week.

if victor wins after what slop and pies does to a person's digestive track, how can he not be the best player in big brother history.

Meh...Paulie is a little guy as well. He could easily win this. Should make for an epic , long battle if it is the wall though.

do you consider james a floater?

If people want to make that their strategy (don't do shite for the first half, don't win comps, don't make waves, be friends with everybody) that's fine. It's their choice. But we need to call a spade a spade. The fact that james was well liked last time, is a returning player this time, and does have a likeable personality wins him favor with the public. But him going somewhat far both times I think has skewed people's opinion into thinking he's actually a good player.

He's not, he's really no different than michelle. In fact, I'd argue Michelle has actually "played the game" better because she helped spearhead Paulie's Rebellion.

James hasn't done a got damn thing other than last week when he went along with someone else's wishes (what's new) and put up some people he maybe didn't want to.

I don't dislike james personally AT ALL. I'd hang out with james, and like him I am also very non-confrontational IRL and go out of my way to please people. But the more I watch the more the truth is quite clear to me; he's a bad player, has no plan of action, and absolutely refuses to do anything that could put the slightest target on him. He's the definition of a floater.

They have a rule that you can't be HOH back to back. So maybe that is why victor was denied the care package even though he got the most votes

Then he wouldn't have been an option to vote for.

You're wrong here

I guess it depends on what your definition of a floater is. My definition of a floater is someone that isn't playing the game socially, not just comps wise. When I think of floaters, I think of the Victoria types who are never part of, or privy to, the discussions to evict people in the house.

James was part of the power structure of the house from week one, whether it was with the 8 pack or the executives. He made strong connections with multiple people in the house (especially Nat, Nicole, Corey, Paulie & even Day), and secondary connections with just about everyone else in the house at one point in time (except for Josea). He has been privy to the decisions and part of the conversations to evict everyone in the house up to this point in the game.

Now by no means am I saying that he's been the mastermind behind anything that has happened this season (because he sure as heck hasn't in any way, shape, or form), but at least he was privy to what was going on all season. And this week he was able to keep Nat and Michelle on track with voting Victor out when they could've very easily flipped (and was still having to keep them on track as of early this morning due to Victor and Paul's plan last night/this morning). And this week he also positioned himself with a possible final 3 with Nicole & Corey if Nat and Michelle get taken out in the weeks to come (if Paulie doesn't come back into the house).

I'm not saying that James has been playing a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but compared everyone else that is left in the house, outside of possibly Paul, he has been playing an ok game. Victor is about to be evicted for the second time in this game because he doesn't know how to keep a low profile. Nicole & Corey haven't made any real attempts at making social connections with anyone left in the house except for James. Nat has James and reeled in Michelle, but she just torpedoed her relation with Paul (who is still left in the house). If she would've let Corey take this HOH, she could've probably established a game connection with Paul & Victor like the one that James has with Nicole & Corey. Michelle is actually closer to my definition of a floater (she did not help spearhead Paulie's downfall, she just happened to be the benefactor of Nat & Bridgette's rebellion). Michelle makes no effort what so ever to socialize with anyone, and as a matter of a fact, she goes out of her way to piss off the other people she doesn't feel is on her side (which is constantly changing).

Again, I'm not saying that James has played a great game (or even a good game really), but he's played an ok game considering how the house dynamics played out this season.

Well, Nat is trying one last time to convince James not to vote Victor out. If she is successful, then scratch what I said about James playing an ok game. If James denies her, and votes him out, then I think he gets point for it since everyone thinks he'll do whatever she says.

Just read the exchange and sounds like he told her nope, he's voting Vic out.
