What do you have 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, or 7
Personally for me... 3, 4, 1 2, 7, 6

I'm currently watching a marathon now and on 4.... I've seen every Rocky and will ignore 5 because it sucked.

Any answer other than Rocky(1976) is wrong

Being honest 4 was my favorite. The first is a classic obviously and the second was just a rematch. Third was garbage with Mr. T. Fourth was against Russia. That's the most American film. That's like saying you hate the movie miracle or Rudy if you hate rocky 4

Yeah I agree 5 sucked. 6 was okay, but all the other ones were awesome. I'd probably say my favorite is the 4th, with 1 and then 2 behind that.

I love the fight against Clubber Lang with Mickey dying.... I think that entire movie is awesome followed by fighting Drago and then Creed....

I mean how could you not love slow motion beach running?

I love the idea that you have a complete underdog in EVERY way and they come in and not just fight hard, they go the distance. (cheesy, I know, lol) People take one look at Rocky in the first movie and the first thing you say is "that dude's a frickin bum" Mickey told him he had a chance to be a good fighter. We know that he has some ability. But this movie was about him believing in himself enough and understanding that he does have a reason to live and a reason to fight. The fight with Creed was not about who won the fight or "how" they won the fight, it's about how far will Rocky go before he gives in. Why does he continue to fight?
Adrian has given him a reason to love someone and also himself.
All of these things come together in the end and we see the struggle on display. Rocky was ready to die that night to prove to himself that he would NEVER back down no matter what. Why? because he's given up on everything his entire life. But not this time. This time, it's "I would rather die than to say I quit". Seeing a man go from being an absolute throwaway of a person, to someone who grows into what you see at the end of the movie was fricking astonishing. Honestly , after the fight was over and Rocky starts yelling "Adrian" I still get chills every time I see it. And I've seen it a lot. He wasn't even listening to the announcer say he lost, because it didn't matter. He was still standing at the end of the last round.
So yea, that's my take on Rocky.
As far as why I like Creed so much, I think Creed and Rocky's internal battles were different, but what they want to accomplish is the same. Just for different reasons.
He believed his entire life that he was a mistake that his Dad wanted nothing to do with him. His real mom didn't give a shite about him. He probably has wondered his entire life why he was even born. He has some issues with being in his father's shadow, even though he didn't know anything about him.
But again, by going the distance and giving everything he has with someone who's suppose to destroy him in one round will heal his eternal wounds by showing to himself that he is worth something and not a mistake. Again, not about winning our losing, but about going the distance. Still standing after the fight is over. I've always enjoyed that concept of Rocky.
Every Rocky movie has something to bring to the table. You know, every Rocky movie, 1,2,3,4,6,7. 1 and 7 are my favorites because I just think they felt more powerful to me personally.
OK. Sorry for the rambling. Carry on...

The one where Boris has developed a nerve gas that renders intelligent people helplessly foolish but doesn't affect Bullwinkle. Man that one gets me every time I see it.
In all seriousness, 4 is my favorite. I know it's got that campy 80's Cold War storyline, but man when Drago says the phrase "if he dies, he dies" with that cold stare.. There is just something about it.

Your order is way off but you did a good job ignoring a certain number.
4 was the GOAT. No Easy Way Out. Hearts On Fire. The film literally ended the Cold War. Nuff said.

4 was the most awesome. Rocky was the best movie.
4 wins out because it was the only one that had real geopolitical implications as it literally ended the Cold War!
4, Rocky, Creed, 3, 2, Balboa

Only movie I ever cried: Rocky II

For me, Rocky 4 is my favorite. It was the first Rocky that I saw and so it had that and Dolph was such a physically imposing freak and the whole us vs them aspect was all really fun for young me.
Rocky I is the best one. Creed is also really good.
I would rank them, personally:
4
1
2
Creed
3
Balboa
5

Honestly all except 5 are pretty good and some are great. Apollo will always be my favorite opponent though
