Saw this was on Netflix last night and had to watch it. I absolutely love this movie and really love the genre. What are some other good mockumentaries out there. Other then spinal tap of course.

The Entire Christopher Guest Catalog is solid.

Bernie is sort of a pseudo mockumentary.

As previously mentioned everything Christopher Guest and his gang put out is excellent.

Also on Netflix is a series with Fred Armisen and Bill Hader called Documentary Now which is funny.

The original and the most prescient.

Real Life and the movie Network pretty much pegged how shitty TV would someday become.

Waiting for Guffman is my favorite.

I too want My Dinner with Andre action figures.

If you haven't seen Woody Allen's Zelig, it's a must-see for this genre.

There was a thread about "What We Do In Shadows" a few days ago. It's in the same spirit and funny as hell.

I've dealt with cat/dog show people before. They really are that crazy.

So now, were you guys, as they say, down with the riots?

We was out of town. That brother on TV just look like me.

No, I mean, did you agree with the riots?

Oh, hell yeah, I mean... the media was trying to say that the people looting was lazy and didn't want to work.
But I tell you what, you try carrying a leather sofa... all the way from Slauson and Crenshaw... down to Pico or Venice or somethin' like that... and then going back for the matching end tables.

Figured I'd share some of my favorite mockumentary sketches.

Eddie Murphy's White Like Me.

Clayton Bigsby from Chapelle's Show

Men's Synchronized Swimming from SNL - though this website is kind of sketchy, I love seeing the early stages of Guest's character from Waiting for Guffman in here.

And I would also add the BBC's "The Office" which I'm guessing you've seen; but I thought did an amazing job with the mockumentary format.
