What are some good arguments about movies that people still get riled up about and what are your opinions?
Here are some to start this thread off:
Was Deckard a replicant?
Was Total Recall a dream?
Did Patrick Bateman really kill all those people?
Did Dottie drop the ball on purpose?
Inception - Did the top fall?
Did Ofelia actually perform magic in Pan's Labyrinth or was it her imagination to escape the war and her stepfather?
Whats in the case in Pulp Fiction?

how is this even an argument? In the original prints, Han was the only one that shot. When Lucus redid them in the late 90's, he went PC puss and had Gredo shot first so it was "justified" for Han to kill him. That's what happened. It would be like arguing did the FBI guys in ET have guns or walkie talkies?

now these are legit arguments, I'd add did the Usual Suspects ending make the movie pointless.

one of the best MTV threads ever was the multiple page Dottie dropping the ball thread. really brought out the anger, pitted brother against brother in a pitched battle of the wills...
