Most of those are unwatchable now. Give me a string of Cosby, Full House, Perfect Strangers, Facts of Life, Family Ties, Growing Pains, family matters...and I won't laugh out loud once. They are terrible.

But I'll watch Cheers or Married with Children.

Yeah. The only way the answer isn't Cheers is if you have a soft spot for the influence of the Cosby Show.

Cheers was great

Growing Pains used to be up there, but I cant take it seriously now after Kirk Cameron went crazy

Full House is cringeworthy for me. It's really tough to watch at times

Punky Brewster

But seriously, I know what some of yall mean. I was watching Silver Spoons on Hulu and it sucked. I loved that show as a kid. I have seen eps of Growing Pains that are still funny, but that was mainly b/c Mike Seaver was a boss.

The right answer probably is Cheers, Night Court etc, but I didn't watch those shows when I was a kid. I watched stuff like Growing Pains, The Facts of Life, Family Ties etc.

It's either I Love Lucy or the Honeymooners for best of the 80's

Jeebus some of you infuriate me

it's Cheers and nothing else close....80's comedy was better movie wise than TV....while the 90's were the opposite.....thoughts?

Hi, I'm Larry; this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother Darryl.

Bunch of good ones so far, but I can't believe no one said Newhart yet.

at its best (after the first season and with the new cast) Night Court was the best

then they went all soft and killed off Phil the hobo and brought him back as his brother, and made Dan a nice guy, and it was terrible

Cheers is my favorite and the one I'd be most likely to watch now.

Cosby Show was hugely popular and probably the most influential.

HM to Night Court, Wonder Years and Newhart. And I'll admit that Mama's Family cracked me up back in the day.
