Banshee is a terrible show

It's full of cliches, the acting is terrible, storylines are predictable. I mean some of the dialogue sounds like it was written by Tommy Wiseau.
But it's entertaining and there are a lot of tits.

I watched the first four shows and quit. Worst story line ever. Never liked any of the characters. If I had kept watching it, it would have only been to pull for the bad guys. Even though there really didn't seem to be any good guys. Lame show

Lucas Hood beating the shite out of that rapist MMA fighter might have been my all-time favorite action scene in a television series. I was up cheering like I was watching a sporting event.

This. It's not supposed to be a realistic storyline. It's violence, tits, and more violence. What's not to love?
And it has some of the best fight scenes on cable tv.

Prepare for the downvotes, but I've always said this. It's ridiculous, and some on this board act as if it's actually really good television.

Just started watching and didn't want to start a new thread. Is there any show more violent? I love GoT and I feel like Banshee blows even that away.

I believe the show does this on purpose. It's meant it to be a campy action show with gratuitous violence and sex. They pull it off well which is why it's so entertaining.
