I'm sure it's been discussed in some other threads, but I don't want to risk spoilers.

Is Avengers worth seeing in IMAX 3D? I typically find 3D to be useless, but some movies are actually worth it.

What say you?

Will be able to tell you about the Real3D version tomorrow. We are only going to a 3D showing b/c of the show time convenience though. The regular version only has 5 showings tomorrow at theater closest to me.

I can say that I don't remember 3D ever adding anything to any of the other Marvel flicks I've seen.

I watch every blockbuster type movie in 3D only because my local theater doesn't have non 3D IMAX screenings.

I'm going to see it in 3D at 12. Not IMAX.

Can one of you report back on the greatness that is about to hit your eyeballs?

I've seen a couple of reports that IMAX 3D is pretty good. I'm doing the Matinee tomorrow, so that's what I went with.

However, before that I was just going 2D I don't think you lose or gain either way really.

I saw it in IMAX 3D last night. It was good and all but it's not like I can compare it to a normal screening because I haven't seen it on a normal screen

Going to see it in 2D now.

I'll post my running thoughts through the entire movie while in the movie theater.

I read on Cinemablend that it was a very meh 3D experience.

I think the IMAX 3-D is usually the best. I'll pass on regular 3-D if I can. Got my tickets to IMAX at 8:00 tonight, getting pumped !
