Down to 71% with an average rating of 6.8/10.

I have a question.

What happens if it drops below 70?

60?

50?

Man, the San fransisco chronicle has a horrible review of this one that speaks to my cynicism with new movies

I may have to go see this now

It will probably end up at around 65 percent.

Fans will still go see it and it will still make a mint.

I'm excited to see it. Gonna try and catch it tomorrow.

i bet TDKR kicks this movie's arse

No, I would bet anything that some of the reviews are bad to get clicks. They complain it's the same movie, but the last movie was like in the 90s

From few reviews I've read, it appears the critics that give it a negative review HATE it. The critics that a positive review just state that it was good or OK.

Eh. The sci fi/fantasy and horror genres get so much shite. You know how many horror gems I've found that were in the 30s?

I'm deciding if I should go with these two people or stay home

Oh I agree. Some of my favorites are the cheesy scifi/fantasy movies that have horrible reviews. But 99% of those didn't have high expectations to start with.

So most movies suck, but now I don't have a reliable way of deducing it for myself

My bullshite alarm is going wild with the avengers 2. My interest in seeing it is because I want to like it. I'm tired of being the only person who hates that movie (actually my wife hates it too)

But like Murray really means, what does that do?

It's going to make nearly $2 billion dollars regardless of RT rating.I know RolLTide is waiting for confirmation to use this as an indication that TDKR is better than AoU, but that's all I got.

65 is the worst it will be, IMO. It will still be fresh and it may stay around where it is now. Either way it will make tons of money. It may go down as one of the lesser or middle of the row MCU movies, but it will be far from a failure. Since the Russos are taking over, even the fans that don't like it will have something to look forward to. This movie may disappoint some, but it will only have a neutral to positive impact on future Marvel projects. There won't be a negative impact even in a worse case scenario, IMO.

I've always been pretty meh on the Red Skull. He's a decent Cap villain if not overused but there are so many other great villains that I'd just as soon not see him in any of the movies for awhile.

Now Kang is a great villain. Though I'm not sure how they would manage all the exposition that is needed to set up a story line involving him.

Modern Skull has been awesome. Steve Rogers cloning. X's brain. Etc. He's a crazy lunatic seeking world domination. So much fun.

You complete me Freaux

I know I'm being Fuddy Duddy McButterpants here but what the hell does the rating mean? The movie will make billions regardless of the tomahto rating.

Will the percentage change your decision to watch? Obviously, it doesn't bother me at all. On Rotten Murray, Mystery Men has a 120% and I've seen it 27 times. In the end that's all that matters.

And for the target audience, it's probably a fine film. It isn't trying to win an Best Picture Oscar, that much I know.
