I think they'll almost have to go down that route. That is her character's main storyline in the new 52 continuity. And it's too easy (and ready made for tv) for them not to go down that route at some point in the Flash series.

I'm pretty sure she was. Slade gave her the mirakuru (as implied by the blood around her eyes). I'm certain they were implying that she is alive.
Since Thea refused to sign the papers, I'm guessing that one of next season's storylines will be Oliver running out of money (and thus Diggle and Falicity), and him trying to get the company back from Isabel.

Oliver seems pretty certain that this cure for the Mirakuru will work. He said that Ivo did it. He can't just take Ivo's word for it and seeing as Slade obviously wasn't cured it made me think that the cure must've worked on someone else.
It's a bit out there but I think island Oliver may have used some Mirakuru on himself in order to level the playing field against Slade. Oliver also mentioned that he was ashamed because he chose to "kill" Slade instead of using the cure. I think that only someone who wasn't in the right frame of mind would've chosen that option. Someone who was a tad angrier than they normally would be. Someone affected by the Mirakuru. What if he was also ashamed that he had taken the Mirakuru in the first place.
The only way Oliver would know for certain that the cure works would be if it was previously successfully used. Used on him.

For the plot to go forward there has to be a cure. The team can't handle one guy suped up. How are they going to handle 22 of them without it.

I would be interesting if they went that route. I could also see Slade about to kill Sarah, and he kills Slade instead of curing him, but I don't know why he'd be ashamed of that.
I'm just wondering now why he didn't try and find the cure for Roy right off the bat if he knew one existed. I guess he could've been thinking that he's need to Roy's strength for the fight against Slade, but that sounds pretty selfish to not let Roy make that decision.

finally got to watch it.
i think the ending of this season will have Thea going off with Malcolm. Keep in mind Slade said Oliver must lose everything. I dont think he will lose EVERYTHING but he will lose a lot.
No money since Thea doesnt sign.
Thea goes with Merlyn

You could definitely tell that the flash was supposed to be in this episode. the same place they met, star labs, 2 scientists to connect to him.

The Killer Frost girl is cute and likable, It would be great to see her become a Catwoman type of anti-hero (selfish when it comes to self-preservation but willing to do some good if it doesn't get in her way).

Is the Flash ever supposed to make an appearance in Arrow? Or was that the original plan until they decided to make a separate series for him?
Also, thoughts about this episode since I just watched:
I think the theory about Oliver using the mirikuru is interesting.
I thought the scene with Laurel and her dad talking was great and good to see he talked some sense into her.
I didn't see the Roy thing coming either.
Thea is a count.
Great episode all around. The end of this season is going to be nuts

Yeah I'm confused about flash too. Someone said earlier endidnt show up for two weeks or something? Why couldn't he be in this show
