they have to come up with something better. I don't know how but it's mildly infuriating seeing thea and laurel beating the shite out of grown men, with guns, that magically always jam. I think that's why i like flash because it's actually MORE realistic that there are super heroes and villains then bad guy wielding soldiers getting beat up by two girls

The girls always kicking arse cracks me up, especially when Oliver gets his arse kicked more than they do.

Looks like next week is a filler episode. Villain of the week type. I'm curious if they will use Diggle's brother regularly now.

I'm ready to see more DD now and the buildup to the finale should be fun.

Okay....yeah. Much more realistic to have heroes and villains out there flying and speeding around with super powers. Got it.

Keep in mind that Laurel and Thea were trained by high ranking members of the League of Assassins. Laurel was trained by the daughter of a former Ra's Al Ghul and Thea was trained by the current Ra's Al Ghul.

oh them being trained by the league explains soldiers guns jamming every time they get into a confrontation?

Try this scenario out. You have to face 10 guys with guns 100 different times. All you have is a bow and arrows (but you have had amazing training) How many times can you defeat those guys with guns. 0

Do yourself a favor bro, just stop watching. If your gonna let something like that bother you then youre never gonna enjoy the show. I too would prefer if they put more emphasis on Oliver's archery skills but it is what it is. Suspension of disbelief and all that. I find it harder to believe The Flash doesn't end all his fights with non speedsters before they can even react...

Anyways, liked the episode, Felicity kinda had the right to get all angsty, paralysis will do that to a person. That being said I'm glad she got over it by the end of the episode. I'm now 100% sure it's Dig in the grave.

So looks like Oliver is going to have a cameo on legends of tomorrow.

TVline

Spoilers.

Will be in the future. Oliver is old with one arm. And his son Connor has taken up the mantle of green arrow.

it's just lazy writing. They could figure out a way to make the scenarios a little more realistic. I feel like quality is greater than quantity when it comes to fights like that

It's 100% Diggle in the grave. Things are going good for him atm.

In this world super powers exist and so it is logical but Laurel and Thea being able to fight as good as they do is stupid. Neither knew how to fight before they began their training. They go from not being able to take down a street thug to being able to take down 3 assassins from the League in minute after a few months of training. Sara being to fight makes sense becuase she had a few years of training and Roy seem to be some skills growing up on the streets.
They used to showcase Oliver's excellent archery and fighting skills in the first 2 seasons but have since stopped.

It's a TV show based on a comic book. It doesn't take that much for me to suspend my disbelief, especially in a world with magic and super powers.

I disagree. I think it is Lance. In the car, Felicity said "you have to kill the son of a bitch". That is what Lance always says.

A lot of people seem to forget this. I mean, bitching about the fight scenes is like bitching that people don't recognize Clark Kent when he takes off his glasses.

I've been saying this since the beginning. He's close enough to the characters for it to be sad but not too important to team Arrow to be killed off

In the comics, CANARY is the better fighter by far.

Laurels held her own since the first season. Even made some kind of comment about with my dad being a cop I had to learn some self defense

I think Thea kicking arse is more believable than Laurel. Thea seemed to have extensive training with Malcolm between seasons 2 and 3.

They're both as believable as the other. The daughter of the Demons Head trained Laurel for about the same period of time.
