While i think the worst cooks is kind of boring, the "Worst Baker" was kind of amusing. It's hosted by Duff and the British chick who does some judging on shows.

Also, Halloween Wars is back. Looks like a few of the great Pumpkin carvers are gone. Some of those guys were fricking brilliant with a pumpkin and a carving knife.

Wife got me into the shows, i like the competition aspect of shows like cake wars, cupcake wars, etc.

I'm sick of all the competition shows. They were fun at first to get a break from traditional cooking shows but it's gotten out of control. I just don't get anything out of watching people try to make a dish out of random ingredients. And the judges on chopped come off so pompous when they are so disappointed because the contestant couldn't satisfy them with a can of tuna, a 100 Grand bar and radishes.

Giada at home
Flays backyard
Guys kitchen.

There are still plenty of shows of single cooks cooking food.

My buddy and I sometimes watch BBQ Pitmasters. Then the next thing I know, we're at the supermarket buying a brisket to put in the smoker.

I started watching Food Network Star when Jay D. was on, watched the last season as well. Started watching Masterchef when Jesse was on, kept watching after. I've had a few friends on Guy's Grocery Games so I've watched that one as well a few times. Same with Cutthroat Kitchen.

I'm a bit sick of all the competition shows as well..

I really like Triple D and watch actual recipe/cooking shows on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

And with that being said, I don't know why all these actress/singers have cooking shows now.. All these great chefs involved with the network and Patricia Heaton and Trisha Yearwood have shows. Makes little sense.

My wife watches the cupcake one all the time and then I start hankering for cupcakes all night. The Halloween one's are pretty damn awesome though.

My wife is obsessed with shows like Halloween Wars. Her and her mother watch them so much that I'm pretty much completely sick of them.
