Anybody Else Having a Hard Time Getting Into Bloodlines?

Tried watching on several occasions. Keep hearing everyone saying how good it is, but its just really hard for me to get into. I've only finished Episode 2 but does it get a lot better?
Edit: Ok, it took me a really long time to get there. But this show is pretty good.

No. It's just as good if not better than breaking bad if we're comparing the first two seasons

I like bloodline and I'll admit it is slow. The acting is great.

It took me until about episode 4 to really get into it. It has it's slow parts at times.

It's the best show I've ever watched. Took me very little to go full on boner for it.

You might be right. I have no illusions it'll match BB overall, but let's not pretend like BB was some joy to watch from the outset. It's a slog in the early days, honestly. Between the depressing visuals and hating every single fricking character, it takes some patience.

It took me a few episodes. It moves slow, no doubt. And they introduce a lot of characters. A lot. And each one is messed up in some way.
I also found, in both seasons, somewhere about episodes 8-10, it really drags a bit. Then the last 2 episodes kick in and finish strong.
Just like Peaky Blinders needed two more episodes each season, Bloodline need 2 less.
Still, very good series and very good acting. You develop a love/hate relationship with every damn one of them.

first season i really enjoyed. the second season was a bore, and i doubt i'll pick it back up again in the third. too much exceptional television out there to waste my time on just 'ok' shows.

It's slow the first few episodes when it's setting up story arcs, etc. Give it till about episode 4 or 5 and if it hasn't grabbed your attention

its crazy how people do not understand the anatomy of TV shows by now. They all fricking start out slow. Do you think people just say it is good for the hell of it? frick man, just watch it or dont.

It's a pretty good show but it's super dramatic all of the time. It's exhausting.

I'm 5 episodes into the first season, and while I don't love it, I don't hate it either. It's an intriguing story presented in an interesting way, but I really don't like any of the characters all that much. Maybe that's the intent, which I've kind of noticed is a trend in recent TV.
My friend swore the 5th episode would blow my mind. I watched it last night and I kept waiting for the mind blowing moment, but it never came. Good episode, but it didn't leave me in a state where I couldn't wait to watch the next episode.
