I still have about 30 minutes to go; I'm at the point where the Troglodytes have attacked and Brooder lost his hand. Some damn strong performances throughout. I've really enjoyed it so far.

You mean bone tomahawk? It has the most brutal scene I've ever seen in a movie.

Yes, my mistake. I assume I haven't made it to that part yet

Didnt care for it.

Seemed cheap and poorly made, real fake quality to it. Also seemed gratuitously violent for only shock and gross value, nothing else.

Seemed like it was written and made by a 13 year old middle schooler.

I thought it was a great B movie

I love westerns and i also watched it on Netflix so i didnt have anything invested in it.

I could have done without that scene BTW

OK, I just saw a pretty rough scene, wasn't as bad as I was expecting though (if that's the one you were referring to)

I like the acting but not sure fans of westerns are all fans of gore porn. I won't ever watch it again and can't say I liked it enough to ever recommend it without the caveat that it is basically Cannibal Holocaust meets the Searchers.

I just finished it. Solid movie... damn solid.

For me, seeing the two blinded females with all their limbs amputated was harder to look at than that gore scene.

I really enjoyed it but I don't care to ever see it again due to that scene.

I enjoyed it but treated it as a weird campy satire of a western that was entirely tongue in cheek. When "the scene" happened I just laughed and thought -"sure, why not".

People say that all the time and I really just don't see it. There are deaths in a ton of movies that are worse.

I agree, that mutilation part wasn't necessary. Could've just dragged the guy off and then a little while later shown the troglodyte eating one of his limbs. That one scene seriously diminishes its re-watchability value.

I feel the same way about The Green Mile. I love the movie, but the scene where the guy gets electrocuted without any water on the sponge is just very hard to watch. If not for that, it'd probably be in my Top 5.
